It’s a fiendishly ingenious camp, one which complies with the letter of galactic rules for how POWs must be held, but definitely not with the spirit. If you haven’t read all the books that come before these stories in Miles’ chronology, I don’t recommend this book. This story is actually better on a re-read.


They are being treated as a social experiment, being mastered by pushing and prodding, lnfinity hatred, distrust, and most of all, despair.

Since I have been reading the series, I was okay, but it might take a while for newbies to catch on. Borders of Infinity is very good on several levels: Refresh and try again.
