Was the grease inside the splined portion of the slip yolk, or was it outside on the shiney smooth part? Of course it could the dealers are full of it and don’t know what they’re saying.

Took it in for several things including the clunk from the rear end. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition. Many Raptor owners have been told by their dealer that they’ve “lubed their slip yoke” which would indicate a two piece design.
Position the clamp heads in-line with the alignment mark on the slip yoke and stud spline shoulder to minimize any balance shift.
